Inxmail releases first iPhone preview
Freiburg, Germany, 14 April 2010. Inxmail is expanding its preliminary email test to include an iPhone preview, a feature that is unique to date. It is now possible to check how a campaign is displayed in the iPhone inbox during the editing stages of an email. This preview is available to all Inxmail Professional users free of charge from 15 April, and will be presented for the first time at Internet World in Munich, Germany at the Inxmail stand (no. 76).
The iPhone is one of the most important mobile display devices for newsletters. Between two and 12 per cent of newsletters are read on iPhones. The display, which is smaller than that of a PC, demands a new approach to newsletter design. Brand names are often unrecognisable in the display, or cleverly devised sentences in the subject and preview lines may be cropped – this can put the success of the campaign among ‘mobile’ readers at serious risk.
Inxmail Professional, email marketing provider and winner of several innovation awards, is therefore offering its customers a preview of the iPhone inbox, and is the first provider to do so worldwide. The preview displays the newsletter created by the marketer in both a horizontal and vertical display as it appears in the iPhone inbox in a matter of seconds. The product innovation is available as a free plug-in as part of the email marketing solution
Inxmail
Professional.
On 14 April, Managing Director of Inxmail Martin Bucher will offer further interesting insights into the preview feature in his presentation “Mobile-friendly email marketing” at Internet World in Infoarena II from 10:45 am to 11:10 am.
